My favourite line when people talk about getting old, etc. "Age is just a number, it's not who you are." Thus, I never really cared about celebrating birthdays. It is just another day after all. But when I was driving two days ago, thinking about my dearest sister who will be 40 today, I thought to myself -- "The number does not matter but the journey of that many years made us who we are." I especially do not regret any of the journeys that I have made. And I am sure she, being most similar to me, shares that sentiment.

Happy birthday Kak Chah. You have always been the one there for me when things get really crazy. All the easy things are for Ja. :)
